Why PRATSTICO?
PRATSTICO is a space created to preserve the artisanal heritage of the Dominican Republic thru different products, one of them is the Dominican MACUTO which it is an emblematic, made by hand just like the indigenous people of the Dominican Republic did, making it functional and artistic. In every single piece you’ll find innovative ideas and proposals by Yeryll Prats.
How & When?
PRATSTICO was stablished on October 2019 in the Dominican Republic, it started finding a Dominican artistic expression that represented us and was re-defined making some changes and adding pictorial elements leaving us with a product that is practical and aesthetic.
The Artist
My name is Yeryll Prats born in the Dominican Republic, and lived many years in Spain which is where my heritage comes from. I come from a family of Artists from whom I’ve gotten a lot of artistic heritage. I love everything that has to do with art, shapes and color, that’s why you’ll always find a mix between personal and decorative use.
